Randy Shatz | Managing Partner

Bio

Randy has been in the architectural woodwork business for 32 years. As co-managing partner of Smokin’ Interiors, his role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, calling upon his breadth of experience as a self-employed contractor and journeyman cabinetmaker. Randy drives the company based on his personal philosophy of transparency, integrity, and trust.

Rick Granoff | Managing Partner

Bio

As Co-Managing Partner, Rick is the former owner & CEO of Eastern Display Group, Rick has over 35 years experience in the design & manufacturing of Pop displays and store fixtures. Rick’s entrepreneurial Drive led him to the cannabis industry where he teamed up with Randy to launch Smokin’ Interiors. Rick leads the sales and marketing team.

Eugene Lee | Design Director

Bio

Eugene Lee is Resident Designer at Trinity Rep in Providence, RI. He is the Production Designer of Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Other Broadway credits include: Bright Star; Ragtime; Show Boat and Sweeney Todd. Film includes: Coppola’s Hammett; Huston’s Mr. North; Malle’s Vanya on 42nd Street and Demme’s A Master Builder. BFA: The Art Institute of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon. MFA: Yale School of Drama and three honorary PhDs. Awards: Tony; Drama Desk; Lucille Lortel; Emmy; Elliot Norton Award for Sustained Excellence;
Pell Award and DESIGNxRI Lifetime Achievement Award. Eugene is a recent inductee into The Theater Hall of Fame, New York. He lives in Providence, RI with his wife, Brooke.

Brian Franklin | PR Director

Bio

Over the last 25 years, my public relations and marketing experience has centered around helping companies and organizations such as Walmart, Johnson & Johnson, and others successfully engage their target audiences. Brian has broad experience in all aspects of communications including traditional and social media outreach, content development, and stakeholder and executive engagement. He has a successful track record of developing breakthrough product innovation and marketing communication—including creative, media, digital, mobile, social, public relations, consumer promotion, online, and consumer affairs—that drives consumer engagement and business results. He has secured media placements on CBS Sunday Morning, CNN, ABC News, The Dr. Oz Show, NPR, and in top newspapers such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and USA Today.
